Four Major Projects We’re Working on in Q3 2023
Snyder Construction Group builds partnerships that last all over the country. We’re based in the heart of the Midwest, but our capabilities allow us to work in many locales in the United States.
Look at four significant projects we’re working on in Q3 2023, including two in Missouri, one in Kansas, and one in Montana.
Parkline Towers in Kalispell, Montana
After breaking ground in mid-June 2023 in Kalispell, Montana, crews jump started the project with the site prep and foundation work for the 5-acre site of Parkline Towers.
This project is being built adjacent to the highly popular Parkline Trail and will feature 224 units with a mix of one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments spread between two buildings at four stories each. The living space will equal more than 150,000 square feet.
Apartments will cater to young professionals and families who enjoy an active lifestyle thanks to the dog park, fitness center, and co-working space on the property. Nearby Parkline Trail connects to several key points in the scenic downtown area.
This new project follows our completion of Highline Apartments and Meridian Apartments, also along the Parkline Trail.
Fairfield Inn & TownePlace Suites in Sikeston, Missouri
Sikeston, Missouri, in the southeast part of the state, is growing fast along the I-57/I-55 corridor. As such, Marriott International chose to build one of its newest concept hotels, a dual-branded Fairfield Inn and TownePlace Suites, to bring similar standard amenities for travelers and extended-stay guests.
We broke ground in mid-April 2023 and have been making steady progress ever since. When completed, the hotel will have 102 rooms, with the TownePlace brand containing fully equipped kitchens in each room. The Fairfield Inn side will have separate living, working, and sleeping areas for busy professionals.
This new construction is part of massive growth in the area. The hotel will support visitors to the area passing through, staying in town for health care, and coming to the major employers in the city as part of their work.
RAD Homes in Salina, Kansas
One way we build partnerships that last is through Snyder Construction Group’s broad portfolio of affordable housing projects. In Q3 of 2023, we’ve been working on a LIHTC renovation in Salina, Kansas.
This project includes renovating and restoring the interior and exterior of 118 dwelling units spread over 108 buildings and 92,000 total square feet. Our work consists primarily of new flooring, new paint, new trim, select new doors, all new siding, select new appliances, new light fixtures, and new plumbing fixtures.
We’re happy to upgrade more than 100 housing units for families in this vibrant urban hub in central Kansas.
O'Reilly Auto Parts Distribution Center in Springfield, Missouri
We had the honor of constructing the new corporate headquarters of O’Reilly Auto Parts, one of the largest employers in Springfield, which opened in 2010. The 115,000-square-foot facility accommodates up to 650 employees on its campus.
Fast forward to Q3 2023, and Snyder Construction Group is renovating the former Convoy of Hope warehouse at 285,000 square feet to convert it into a distribution center for O’Reilly Auto Parts, adjacent to its corporate campus.
We will install extensive concrete, mechanical, and electrical packages to upgrade the facility to meet the standards of the project. Our team is also adding two second-story mezzanines inside the building to house about a dozen offices and conference rooms.
For the exterior, there will be an additional 120,000 square-foot parking lot and a drive lane on the north side connecting the distribution center parking lot with an already-existing parking lot.
