If your firm is interested in becoming a valued trade partner, here are the things you need to know.
Prequalification Is Required
Because every commercial construction project is unique, we rely on various trade partners to lend their expertise to our team. We require every trade partner to fill out a prequalification form ahead of approval. Once you submit the form, someone on our team will contact you. After that, you may start receiving bid applications on our behalf through Gradebeam.
Have Your Documentation Updated and Ready
Snyder Construction Group works on a lot of commercial construction projects in Southwest Missouri. However, we may work on projects in Arkansas, Oklahoma, Kansas, and other areas of Missouri. As such, you must have your documentation, licenses, and insurance updated and ready for your prequalification process and when project bids come up. If you want to work on projects outside of your normal geographic area, you may need to get licenses from other municipalities.
We Want to Partner With Firms That Stay Busy
Snyder Construction Group takes various factors into consideration when choosing trade partners. One of these is the average annual volume of work your company has done over the past three years. Staying busy is a sign of quality work generated by referrals from successful projects and satisfied customers.
Trade References Offer a Third Party’s Objective Opinion
Snyder Construction Group will check trade references to get an unbiased opinion from third parties. Other tradespeople with experience in the field can gauge the quality of work, timeliness of completion, and how companies successfully handled any delays or difficulties on a project.
Legally Able to Take Care of Work
As with any company working on a project, we want to ensure safety on every site. We will make sure that your licenses, insurance, and safety requirements of training are in order. We’ll also look at any current or past investigations that may affect a trade partner’s ability to perform the necessary work.
